Markdown with Mermaid in gitlab

gitlab support for MD with mermaid seems to be lacking.

At least it offers an option to copy the diagram (mermaid text) into the clipboard. You can then paste it into

• mermaid live editor.
• or, better yet in app.diagrams.net - do Arrange > Insert > Mermaid!
